Valbenazine is used to treat unwanted movements of the face, tongue, or other parts of the body (a condition called Tardive Dyskinesia). It is thought to work by reducing the amount of certain natural substances (such as dopamine, serotonin and norepinephrine) in the brain that affect your nerves and muscles.
