Xyloton is used to control and prevent the symptoms (such as wheezing and shortness of breath) caused by asthma. Controlling asthma symptoms helps you to get back to your normal daily activities. This drug should be used regularly to be effective. Xyloton does not work immediately and should not be used to relieve sudden asthma attacks. If you have an asthma attack, take quick-acting inhalers such as albuterol and salbutamol.
