Ritoximab or rituximab is used to treat a type of cancer called non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and chronic lymphocytic leukemia. Ritoximab is a chemotherapy drug used to reduce or stop the growth of cancer cells.

Rituximab is also used to treat rheumatoid arthritis and can reduce pain and swelling. It is also used to treat some types of vascular disease (such as Wegener's granulomatosis) and can reduce the swelling of blood vessels. Ritoximab is also used to treat a specific skin condition (pemphigus vulgaris) and helps reduce the number of skin lesions.
