  • If you have myasthenia gravis (muscle weakness).
  • If you are deficient in glucose 6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD). It is a genetic disorder that causes allergies to foods such as beans.
  • If you are taking certain medications. These medicines include all the medicines available, whether you are prescribed them or taking them without a doctor's prescription, such as herbal medicines and complementary medicines.
  • If you have a history of an allergic reaction to a drug.

All medications can cause side effects. But many consumers also do not experience any side effects. Some of the side effects go away after a short time of taking the medicine. In case of persistent side effects, the physician should be informed:

Nausea, indigestion, abdominal pain: Eat simple foods and avoid spicy and high-fat foods.

Urticaria: Tell your doctor if it gets worse.

Important Note: In some people, Norfloxacin causes rare but serious side effects. If you experience any of the following, consult your doctor as soon as possible:

Allergic reactions, such as swelling around the face and mouth, skin rash or any breathing problem

Pain or swelling in the joints

Mental disorder about hurting yourself

Consult your doctor if you have any other symptoms that you feel are due to the use of norfloxacin.
