Optifibatide (integrin) quickly and effectively prevents blood clotting. Occasionally, dangerous blood clots can form in the arteries, leading to clogged arteries. The risk of developing these types of clots is usually higher after certain surgeries or in people who have fast and irregular heartbeats.

In fact, Optifibatid prevents unwanted blood clots. In conditions such as angina and heart attack that put you at risk for blood clots, you may be prescribed the drug Optifibatid. Optifibatide prevents the formation of any clots in the blood vessels of the legs, lungs and heart, as well as the enlargement of these clots and causing bigger problems.

If your doctor prescribes a combination of these medications, go to your doctor's appointments regularly to have your health checked.

Check the labels on all prescription and over-the-counter medications you are taking, as these medications may contain nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) or salicylates, including analgesics / fever medications (such as acetaminophen) that are similar to Optifibatide. And may increase the risk of side effects.

  • If you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, or if you are breast-feeding.

  • If you have a disease that may increase your risk of bleeding or if you are bleeding.
  • If you have high blood pressure.
  • If you have a history of stroke.
  • If you have any surgery, injury, or medical emergency during the last 6 weeks.
  • If you are taking certain medications. These medicines include all the medicines available, whether you are prescribed them or taking them without a doctor's prescription, such as herbal medicines and complementary medicines.
  • If you have a history of an allergic reaction to another medicine.

 

Side effects of using optifibatide Integralin

All medications can cause side effects. But many consumers also do not experience any side effects. Some of the side effects go away shortly after taking this medicine. In case of persistent side effects, the doctor should be informed:

  • Bleeding and bruising
  • Series style
  • Any bleeding that does not stop
  • Bleeding around a vein or catheter (or anywhere your skin is pierced with a needle)
