Cyprotron Compound Drug Information

Cyproterone is a hormonal compound of an anti-androgenic component (cyprotron) and an estrogenic component (ethinyl estradiol). It is used to treat severe acne in women who have not responded to other treatments or another condition called hirsutism (male hair growth in women). Cyproterone compound should not be used as a contraceptive because it increases the risk of serious side effects (such as blood clots). Do not take the drug as soon as your illness (severe acne or hirsutism) is under control, Cyproterone Compound should not be used for more than 3-4 menstrual periods. Consult your doctor or pharmacist for more details.

 

Dosage and method of taking Cyproterone Compound
