Drug Information Choriogonadotropin

Chorionic gonadotropin is a hormone used for boys (before puberty) that causes the testicles to fit properly into the scrotum. It is also used in some boys to help with normal sexual development. It stimulates the release of male sex hormones (such as testosterone).

Choriogonadotropin is used in women to treat fertility problems. This drug is given for ovulation after the end of the course of monotropin drug.

Choriogonadotropin is not effective for weight loss and should not be used for this purpose due to the risk of serious side effects.

Side effects of choriogonadotropin
