Candesartan drug information

Medication Information: Candesartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker. It is also known as angiotensin II receptor antagonist or AIIRA. Kandsartan is prescribed for diseases such as heart failure or high blood pressure. People with high blood pressure often do not feel unwell, but if left untreated, it can damage the heart and blood vessels.

Candesartan blocks the action of a chemical called angiotensin II. Angiotensin II narrows or blocks blood vessels. Your condensate medicine causes the blood vessels to dilate and dilate, thus reducing the pressure in the blood vessels and making it easier for the heart to pump blood.
