C-Lux drug information

Constipation is a condition in which defecation is difficult and the frequency of defecation is less than normal. Constipation occurs due to poor diet and drinking insufficient amounts of water or delayed defecation. Pregnancy, lack of exercise, and some medications, such as painkillers, can cause constipation. Even constipation can be a side effect of certain medications or illnesses. Although changes in lifestyle and diet (increased fiber intake) can help alleviate constipation, some laxatives, especially herbal laxatives such as C-Lux, are very helpful for people with constipation.

C-Lux is used to relieve constipation caused by poor bowel function. C-Lux herbal medicine is composed of active ingredients of Senna, which has two functions:

Water and electrolytes increase the contents of the intestine.

C-Lux activates intestinal muscles, increases bowel movement, and reduces the time it takes to absorb fluids due to the rapid passage of intestinal contents.

The correct amount and method of consumption of C-Lux

Read the package leaflet carefully before starting treatment with this medicine. This brochure will help you to get information about the drug and its possible side effects.

The dose and amount of C-Lax varies from person to person; Use the medicine exactly as your doctor advised.

If C-Lux is prescribed as a laxative, it is usually as follows:

Adults and children over 12 years: 2-1 tablets a day

Children 10-12 years: half the adult dose

For younger children: C-Lux syrup is recommended.

Elderly: They should start treatment with half the usual dose first

Take 2-3 tablets of C-Lux before bed to use this drug as a laxative.

Continuous use of C-Lux for more than 2 weeks is not recommended because long-term use reduces the response of the large intestine to cenosides and causes the intestinal muscles to become sluggish and the dose to increase the effectiveness of the drug.

Do not change the dose of your medicine without consulting your doctor or stop taking the medicine.

Senna-containing drugs such as C-Lux may interact with cardiac glycosides, antiarrhythmics, estrogen, indomethacin, and nifedipine.
